Michael Russell, MS, LPC

Hello! My name is Michael Russell and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here in the state of Texas. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2020, where I earned a Masters in Science in Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy. During and following my education I worked as a community counselor with adults and children, as well as in an advocacy setting working with young people who experienced traumatic events and violence in their lives. I began my independent practice work in late 2024, and continue to see clients in person and online to help them tackle their life challenges, improve their mental health, and explore their authentic selves.

I live in Weatherford, TX, about half an hour West of Fort Worth, with my family and several outspoken cats. When not counseling I enjoy playing games of all sorts, reading, writing, and outdoorsmanship.
